• What is the Every121 personality profiling system?
Our system is based on the proven and highly accurate Eastern philosophy that everything has an energy. Some energies are strong while others are weaker and it is through the interaction of all these energies that Eastern philosophy can determine the effects of their interaction. This philosophy has been used in Chinese and Japanese cultures, from medicine to martial arts and has been around for several thousand years.
Every121's profiling and compatibility analysis systems have stood up through 20 years of study, scientific observation and feedback in profiling people's personalities, demonstrating proven and accurate results in helping people to become more self-aware and manage their relationships with others.
Many dating sites' and other outlets offer "free" personality profiling, primarily based on the Western behavioural assessment model of psychometric testing. Every121's Eastern based system is based on personality assessment, examining compatible energies to deliver incredibly accurate profiles of your basic personality and your compatibility with others in both your personal - love; friendship; family relationships and professional workplace and team/group dynamics and relationships.
• If two people have the same birthdate, but a year apart, do they have different personalities?
Yes, their personalities are totally different.
• Do people born on the same day have the exact same personalities?
Only their basic personality is the same. As people mature they will be influenced by their parents or guardians, their mentors and teachers and even by their culture, environment and gender. All these influences and experiences will develop different traits and characteristics even in similar personality types which makes everyone unique.
• Do twins, have the same personalities?
Established evidence indicates that twins either choose to be identical or have completely different personalities. The degree of difference will depend on what the twins themselves want, based on their individual experiences. So they may choose one side of their personality each and develop that side in such a way as to be totally different or they may take some similar character traits and develop them in different ways.
• How many different types of personality are there?
There are 81 different basic types of personality, but this goes out into an infinite number of possibilities when you take parental, guardian, teacher, cultural and other life experiences into account.
• Why is knowing a person's pre- or post-adult personality important?
Any significant difference to the basic personality profile can indicate that an individual is either under a lot of stress and/or may possibly be suffering from an illness that may cause them to act differently. At times of stress, for example, it is found that most people regress from their post-adult personality to their pre-adult personality. If these stress levels continue then the person may show a different personality altogether, say an opposite to who they really are. Common day saying in this type of situation might be - "(such-and-such a person) is not acting themselves".
• Apart from obtaining details of an individual basic personality what else can your system indicate?
It will also indicate the personal compatibility between any two people, in any given situation, such as - personal relationships; work or team relationships; friendship; etc.
• Can this system compare any two people?
Yes, any kind of relationship can be compared for a compatibility result - Parents and Children; Husband and Wife; Employer and Employee; Boyfriend and Girlfriend; Friends; Relations; Famous people from history; anyone and everyone.
• Do all people know the different types of relationships they encounter on a daily basis?
Most people are unaware of the different relationships they encounter on a daily basis and how they themselves influence those different situations. People would tend to say that they either enjoy meeting/ working/ living/ etc. with someone or not, as the case may be.
• What happens if your system shows that two people, in a relationship, are not compatible?
People may pick a relationship where one is challenged or where they feel they need some controlling influence in their life. It is not necessarily a bad type of relationship. Like the old saying "opposites attract".
• Is a supportive relationship the best one to have?
Everyone has free choice and it is very much up to each individual as to what type of relationship they are looking for and if the other person is agreeable to that type of relationship. Even in a supporting relationship you can have the question, "I am always supporting you. Why don't you support me for a change?" That can put as much pressure on a relationship as one of conflict.
• Why do some supportive relationships/ marriages (according to your system) fail?
Every relationship needs work and if the people involved do not put in the effort then that relationship will fail no matter what type of relationship is chosen. It is observed that the more difficult or challenging the relationship, the more it is prone to failure.
• What is the best type of personality to be?
There is no "best type" and there is no "right or wrong type". There will always be people you get on with and there will always be people who you conflict with.
• Can I change my basic personality?
Your basic personality is what you are born with and cannot be changed, at will. Through influences, life experiences and learning an individual can come to know and understand themselves and can then develop an acceptance and understanding (in the differences) of others.
• What makes your system of profiling different from other systems?
Most other systems are based on psychology profiling from answers gleaned from a list of questions or images. It is best described as "Self Reporting". With any "Self Reporting" system it is only as accurate as the subjects answers, the current mental state of the individual, the questions asked and the professionalism of the interpretation of the results. Some people will give answers to "self reporting" questions which they think the examiner expects, therefore making the model inaccurate without several other validating questions. Every121 does not rely solely on self-reporting therefore the individual being assessed cannot add influence to the examiner resulting in a more balanced assessment that can be relied upon.
